Late rally sparks Huskies
The Huskies met the Crows for the 2nd time in 5 days and snuck away with a 5-2 win. Sam Starke was stellar on the mound going the distance for the complete game win. After taking a 1-0 lead in the 1st from a Sam Rensch RBI double, the offense struggled. Rockford to a 2-1 lead after getting a 2 run single. The Huskies loaded the bases in the 6th to start the rally. Jon DeRock's infield single tied it and KK Starrett delivered a single that cleared the bases. The defense held up to complete the win. Up next ,the Huskies host Maple Plain for Kyle Messner's Northstar League Hall of Fame induction on Sunday.
