Cubs rain on Orioles debut
Clark Shultz shined in his pitching debut. Clark went 4 innings, allowing no runs, one walk and scattered 4 hits. He struck out 7. Jackson Spaulding came in in relief and allowed no runs, 3 strikeouts and only one walk.
Abe Pacella, Channing Giacchina, Bryce Worden and Alex West all had three hits for the Cubs. Liam Berthet got his first hit and RBI of the season, and the entire team in general hit the ball well!
Strong catching performances by Faryson Livingston and Porter Lorusso were a highlight for the O’s. Shooter Barkley also had some great defensive plays in the infield, and Nick McConnell hit a nuke up the middle for a single.
