OILERS SOIL THEMSELVES IN HOME OPENER!
The Oilers in their much anticipated home opener did nothing to impress the fans. In the unveiling of their new makeover team, which featured Farmingdale shortstop, Patrick Dallas, and Airforce starting pitcher, James Paczkowski, the Oilers were unable to get out of their own way yesterday. It all began when starting pitcher JPAC informed the team that he was going to be late for the game. Sal D?Ambrosio had to resort to Chris, Bruce Jenner Brooks to start on 10 minutes notice. The 43-year-old did the best he could to keep the ball in the ballpark, but eventually D?Ambrosio left him in for one pitch too long as Albee "The Super Freak" Fanara took him deep over the left field fence. JPAC came in and struggled to throw strikes as the Biscuits rallied for nine runs in the fourth. The Oilers struggled from that point on and racked up 10 strikeouts on offense thus leading to the worst home opening loss in Oilers history since they?re inception of 2002 where they were run ruled 15-0. Manager King Daddy, Sal and Gus, Hussein Mejia will go back to the drawing board as they prepare for a doubleheader against the Four Seam Falcons on Sunday. Mejia will have to serve as the interim manager for game one as king Daddy Sal will have military duty. The Oilers hope not to further soil themselves.
