Brewers give up three run lead and fall to Pelham.
The Metro Brewers were back on the diamond on Sunday afternoon to face the home team the Halifax Pelham Canadians. Despite being down 3-0, the Pelham Canadians fought back to steal a game away from the Brew Crew.
Alex Ouellette and Mike Short led the Brewers on offense both collecting two hits and a run each. Josh Tardif went 1-3 with a RBI and a run and Larry Barton chipped in with a hit and a RBI himself. That would be all the offense for the Brewers in a quick game that took under two hours to play.
Garrett Windsor got his first start of the season going four solid innings allowing six hits and four earned runs. Nathan MacKinnon threw two innings in relief sitting down six in a row for his outing.
The Brewers will be looking for some revenge on Tuesday night as they once again take on the Halifax Pelham Canadians in their next game. The Brewers will once again be the away team and they will be coming to hold on to that second place spot as this game will mark the halfway point of the season. First pitch is 7:30PM at Halifax Mainland Commons.
