Splunkers Top Cowboys in Game of the Week
Austin Abel hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning and earned the save in relief on the rubber to lead the Splunkers to a 4-2 victory over the Space Cowboys in the Week 1 Game of the Week ... Miller started and went four innings, allowing just one hit after two solo home runs in the bottom of the second for the Cowboys ... The Splunkers manufactured a run in the second inning to get on the board first before Sullivan and Gregory homered in the bottom half ... Miller, who was 3-for-3 with two walks, answered right back on the offensive side in the top of the third with a solo shot and the Splunkers led the rest of the way, adding the two-run jack by Abel.
