No. 8 Prestige Outlasts No. 9 Lumberjax in Play-In Slugfest
Prestige World Wide topped the Lumberjax, 15-13, in a offensive slugfest to earn a spot in the 2024 playoff bracket ... The Lumberjax went up 4-0 in the top of the first with home runs by all three players ... PWW answered with eight in their first at bat ... The 'Jax then regained the lead with four in the second and two in the third, as they took a 10-9 lead into the bottom of the fourth ... Taczak hit two homers and Mead added a solo shot as PWW put up a 6-spot all with one out in the fourth and held on in the fifth for the win ... The Lumberjax hit three straight homers in the top of the fifth with one out, but a diving catch in foul ground by Will Taczak ended the game ... Taczak led Prestige with four homers and went 5-for-7 at the plate, while McKinney finished 5-for-7 with four homers to pace the 'Jax.
