A six-run fifth inning capped off by an Austin Buzza walk-off grand slam kept No. 4 Oakdale Curve alive in the 2024 playoffs, defeating the No. 12 Replacements 6-3 in an elimination game ... The Replacements, who won three straight play-in games to enter the playoff bracket, got out to a 3-0 lead off home runs by Qunique (solo shot in third) and Eannace (two-run HR in fourth) ... Oakdale, who had just two hits entering the last half inning, got its first five batters on base in the bottom of the fifth and cut the deficit to 3-2 before recording their first out ... Down to their final out, Buzza extended the seasonw with a blast over the left field wall.
