Game 3 - South Park Holds Off Late Port Vue Rally
South Park won its opening round match up with Port Vue this evening at Evans Field by a 7-4 score. A six run fourth inning put South Park up with a comfortable 7-1 advantage. But things got interesting in the seventh as Port Vue looked for a major comeback. They first pushed across three runs and then had the bases loaded with two outs before the home side ended the game and completed the 7-4 win. Josh Peremba lead the winners with three hits. Matt Mish, besides picking up the complete game victory while recording nine strikeouts, knocked out two hits while at bat. AJ Segarra had a three hit evening for Port Vue.
