Game 7 - South Park Uses Six Run Fourth For Victory
With their 6-2 win this evening over the Bulldogs, South Park moves onto the semi finals. The fast paced game saw all either runs score in just two turns at bat. The Bulldogs led early after posting two in the top of the third. South Park would take the lead with a six run fourth as the pitching of Dylan Pounds would then take over. Pounds struck out nine on the night and finished strong as he retired 13 of the last 14 Bulldog batters of the game. Jean Santos and Zac Stern had a pair of hits each as Ryan Dodson belted out a double for the winners. Stern's three run double was the big blow in the winning side big fourth inning. For the Bulldogs, Mitch Robinson, Clay Groff and Colin Daugherty lead the way with two each a piece.
