Blues take down Huskies in Region play
A first round match up in Region 12 C brought a familiar opponent on Saturday in Dassel as the Huskies and Blues met for the 2nd year in a row for playoffs. The Blues took a 2-0 lead into the 3rd as the Huskies plated one run in the bottom half. The big inning came in the 5th when Litchfield scored 4 runs, taking a 7-1 lead. The Huskies mounted a comeback late in the 9th, but came up short leaving the bases loaded. Jon DeRock took the loss throwing 4.2 innings. Cody Arlt and Lane Glaser each had 2 hits and an RBI for Hutchinson. The Huskies will take on Dassel-Cokato Sunday afternoon to keep their season going.
