Game 14 - Gault Fans 15 In Complete Game One-Hitter

With their backs to the wall and facing elimination, Quinn Construction came out swinging early against Dylan Pounds in game 2 of the 2024 DNL Finals. Tarran Senay started the game off with a single and then came around to score on a Jim Pasquine triple down the right field line. After Eric Morrison got plunked with a pitch, Bert Kovalsky brought Pasquine home and moved Morrison to second with a safety squeeze making it 2-0. The Mudcats added two more runs in the third to make it 4-0, but that is all the Mudcats would need in this game because Kenny Gault was nearly untouchable on the mound. Gault struck out 15 batters and allowed only one hit, which was an Adam Weber double. Pasquine was the only batter in the game with two hits. The best of three series is now 1-1 which sets up the final game for Monday night at Evans Field at 6:30.
