Mosquitoes Blow Game to Vets and Rain Calls It
The Mosquitoes blew a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 3rd. Walking the 9th and #1 hitters started the Vets rally with one out. The number # 2 and # 3 hitters followed with a singlle and double to tie the game. The vets scored the go ahead (4 R) when the catcher forgot that he had to tag the runner at home on a ball hit to the 3B. The Vets scored the 5th run of the inning on a error by 3B.
The Mosquitoes had a rally in the top of the 6th scoring a run and with runners on 2nd and 3rd, 2 balls and no strikes on the hitter the rain and lightning came haulting the game. The game was then called because of wet conditions.
