Pete Cesario pitched a gem today, shutting out the formidable Eagles in a complete game victory. The Dodgers exhibited some timely hitting and solid defense to help Pete's cause. Ramiro Gonzalez played a solid second base. The Dodgers' catching, a prior weakness, now is throwing runners out. 2 Eagles' runners were thrown out trying to steal bases.
