Team Easton over Diamondbacks at Grant HS 17-5.

SS Billy Minnis leads the 20-hit Team Easton attack by smashing 3 doubles and scoring 3 runs. Larry Brown pitched a strong 7 innings for Easton while other notables were leadoff man Robert Mendoza (3-6) and 1B Longo Garcia (3-4 2B, 3 R). Some nice glove work was put in by Team Easton 3B Kevin Milligan making the defensive play of the young season so far. Hats off to a spectacular over the shoulder catch by Diamondback second baseman Mike Thompson. Derek Moore continues a hot streak of 8 consecutive hits since game 1, going 4-for-4.
