Affrunti double starts 5-run 10th to offset Davis tying HR.
A pitching duel between the Mudcats Dave White who went 9 strong innings, striking out 11, and the Angels Aldo Pinto who threw a strong 7 innings, allowing no earned runs, led to some late game heroics. With the Mudcats holding a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the 9th, Mark Batchelor and Derek Stone singled and then Ryan Davis hit a long, game tying HR over the centerfield fence. From there, White got tough and held the Angels. In the top of the 10th, Bob Affrunti led off with a double, and was sacrificed to 3rd. Mr. Clutch; Marcos Perez followed with the eventual game winning single, which was followed by singles by Ben Agatep, Carlos Ramos, Michael McNeely, Diego Ramirez and Pat Armstrong. Once the dust cleared the 'cats had a 5-run 10th. Seth Craig came in to pitch a 1-2-3 bottom of the 10th to seal the victory for the Mudcats. The 'cats were led by Diego Ramirez who had 3 hits.
