Redbirds Rally in 9th to win
Coming into the 9th inning the Redbirds were down 4 to nothing. In the bottom of the ninth inning and one out the Rdbirds hit a solo home run, are down 4-1. The next batter walked, a single scored another run. A force out at third, and a dropped fly ball and another walk loads the bases. In the bottom of the ninth, two outs bases loaded (not sure of the count) game on the line, the unnamed Redbirds player who was oh for the day hits a deep fly ball to left that clears the fence. Game over. Redbirds danced around home plate like it was the last game of the world series. Celebrated so much, half the team forgot to shake hands.
