Stallions strap on the blinders and race to the finish line
This was a sweet sweet 1st victory, and when I say 1st victory, that's including an insane season as the "Nuts", fallowed by a season of the falling "Stars" last year! It's been more fun in the trying then we can express, but winning is a really cool feeling for a change. The allways hard hitting Skippers had a start, with a lead-off homer to center by Chris Jeffra (on a nasty 2 strike knuckler that dipped below the knees, nice job), and 3 more early runs had the Stallions thinking,"oh crap here we go again". Mudskippers were missing their lefty starting pitcher, but the Stallion's lefty Duncan Rayside went the distance and gets the MVP as he added 4 hits and a walk to the great pitching! Supported by Joey Martino, Mike Chylinski and Dave Kazarinoff with 3 hits each, good ball crushing. Hats off to Stallions for taking advantage of shoddy Muddskipper defense. Muddies with a season high of at least 13 errors.
