The Mudcats, with starter Dave White (7 2/3 allowing only 1 earned) and closer Pat Armstong (4 up and 4 out) pitched great today. Team Victory starter Jaime Gallindo (6 IP, 2 earned) and reliever Bob Diaz (2 shutout innings) also pitched very well.
In the 1st, the Mudcats scored 2 runs, 1 on a Seth Craig single and another on a WP, then in the 4th scored another 2 runs on a Diego Ramirez RBI double and a Dave Becker RBI single. They scored their final run in the 5th on a Carlos Ramos SF. For the Mudcats, Seth Craig had a pair of hits, and Carlos Ramos made a few fine scoops at 1B to prevent errors.
