Tired Jackrabbits pull away late in 62-54 victory In the second part of a double header in the Saturday afternoon heat we saw our first technical fouls of COBRA. Blaze Cohen and Joe Affet got into an altercation that lead to shoving to the ground and jawing back and forth. The committee issued a technical foul to both players and although they both remained heated throughout the game, it calmed down. The Banana Slugs early ball movement against the Jackrabbits 2-3 zone provided early easy offense, which lead to the Jackrabbits switching to man defense in the second half. Despite having an early lead, the Banana Slugs had no answers for player of the game Pat Reddington who seemed to get any shot he wanted en route to his 31 point performance. In an overall heated battle, the quality of the game was very strong as these two teams look poised to make deep playoff runs.
