Jackrabbits survive literal freezing start over Broncs In a game where the Jackrabbits started the game freezing cold both literally and figuratively, the Broncs came out to an 18-4 start. The Jackrabbits answered with strong defense due to the freezing conditions and wind and took a 22-20 halftime lead. As the game was back and forth all game, player of the game Adam Haun stepped up and knocked down multiple jumpers that the Broncs dared him to shoot to put in 10 points along with his routine 16 rebounds. The lead changed multiple times in the second half with Blaze Cohen knocking in a crucial 3 pointer to open the Jackrabbits up to the largest lead at the time at 7 points late in the second half. With strong free throw shooting the Jackrabbits closed the deal and the Broncs found themselves on the losing end of another tight battle. Note: this game began 4 on 5 as the Jackrabbits elected to not use their 4's and play 4 on 5 until Pat Reddington showed up 5 minutes into the game with the score being 2-0.
