Jackrabbits hot early 2nd half leads to 2-0 lead
For the first half of game 2 the battle was back and forth with runs on both sides. Early for the Aztecs was Duffy Barrett finishing tough layups again while Pat Reddington got going finishing in transition. With a 22-21 lead late in the first, the Jackrabbits began to heat up in the 2nd half feeding captain and player of the game Brandon Feinstein who hit 3 consecutive 3 pointers to break the game to a near 20 point lead. The Jackrabbits seemed to then win every loose ball, offensive rebound, and smothered the Aztecs defensively. The game ended as Alfredo Candeloro had a pump fake layup attempt (that went in) that was negated by captain Duffy Barrett calling the game instead with 24 seconds left in order to keep Fredo off the scorers chart. Game 3 will take place Wednesday at 8:00 pm. Will the Jackrabbits run away with a 3-0 sweep and ride momentum or will the Aztecs make things interesting and take game 3 hoping momentum would lead them to a 3 game comeback.
