Jackrabbits sweep in frozen tundra over Aztecs The atmosphere was not only freezing cold to begin game 3 of the finals but both teams were freezing cold as well. In a must win game for the Aztecs to force game 4 they played again without #1 pick Kyle McCloskey but looked over at the Jackrabbits without #3 pick Pat Reddington and #13 pick Dave Homsher, two of the teams leading scorers. The Aztecs came out motivated and lead 9-2 early, but a 9-0 run from the Jackrabbits to take the 11-9 lead began the back and forth for the game. No team lead by more than 9 points until the final 3-4 minutes of the game. With the freezing temperatures and frozen hands, no one was able to consistently hit shots and this was the ultimate defensive battle. Late in the game as the Aztecs cut it to 3, the Jackrabbits fed player of the game Brandon Feinstein in the post who hit a few very timely turn around jumpers to increase the lead to double digits. The Jackrabbits then fell asleep celebrating victory far too early as the Aztecs took a 13 point defecit and cut it to 4 with 35 seconds left. Clutch free throws by Blaze Cohen lead to the Jackrabbits sealing the deal and becoming the first ever COBRA champions in a 3-0 finals sweep. Finals MVP - Brandon Feinstein
