Virginia got hot early with an 18-6 lead before UCLA decided to go box and one and try to allow the role players of Virginia to beat them. The early subs also lead to a 12-0 run for UCLA who kept the game close all night and took the lead late and never gave it back. Virginia struggled offensively yet again whereas UCLA looks to begin their run of winning out to make the playoffs. If they can get quality attendance, this team can be as deadly as any.
