Sharks win a convincing opener over Stanton Prep
The Sharks raced out to an early 15-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back in a convincing 58-30 opening game victory over Stanton Prep. Junior Luke Perris netted 17 points to go along with 8 rebounds to lead the Sharks. Junior JT Kelly chipped in with 12 markers while sophomore Nathan Bunkosky played a steady game for the victors with 9 points, 5 assists, 5 steals and committed only one turnover as the point guard. Senior Rory Mayer came off the bench to pull down 8 rebounds, 7 in the first half. The Sharks will take a week off before resuming action on December 1st at Flagler Palm Coast.
