Sharks stay undefeated with 57-47 win over Bartram Ponte Vedra made their home opener a successful one with a 57-47 victory over Bartram Trail. Luke Pirris paced the Sharks with 26 points to equal a career high while shutting down his opposing center, 6’10 D1 Alijah Kuehl to zero points. Pirris drew 4 charging fouls to spearhead the defense as the Sharks led from beginning to end. Holding a commanding 30-14 lead at halftime, Bartram Trail came out firing in the second half by going on a 10-0 run before sophomore point guard Nate Bunkosky stopped the bleeding with a 3 pointer. The visiting Bears were only able to score one additional point in the third period as the Sharks took that same 16-point lead into the final period. Alex Madson also was in double figures for the Sharks with 11 tallies while Darian Johnson with 21 markers and Braylon Fowler had 12 for Bartram Trail as they fall to 1-3 on the season. The Sharks are now a perfect 4-0 and will next return to action with a home game with Fleming Island next Tuesday, December 8.
