St Augustine fall to the Sharks Ponte Vedra stetched their streak to 8 without a loss with a convincing 65-49 road victory over St. Augustine. The Sharks received some outstanding play from their guard trio of Sophomore Nate Bunkosky and Seniors Alex Madson and Will Irwin while Junior Luke Pirris had another good performance. Sophomore Greg Constrain, after a call up from the Junior Varsity team, made his debut a good one by chipping in 9 points to aid the victors. Bunkosky was perfect from the field hitting on all but one of his outcourt shots, including 4 from 3-point land to notch a career high 22 points to lead all scorers. Pirris was right on his average with 16 points while Madson filled up the stat sheet with 11 points, 5 assists and drew a pair of charging fouls. Irwin played a fine floor game with 4 assists and 5 rebounds for the streaking Sharks. The Sharks will have perhaps their toughest test of the young season when they travel to Creekside on Thursday to play the Knights. Creekside, after dropping their first game of the season, has not lost since dropping their opening game of the season.
