Sharks hold off Bishop Kenny
It appeared that the Sharks would coast to as easy victory over Bishop Kenny after holding a commanding 33-14 lead at halftime. However, the host Crusaders caught the Sharks flat footed coming out of the break as they outscored the visitors from Ponte Vedra 19-4 in the third quarter to pull to within 4.
The Sharks never lost their poise and opened up the fourth quarter with a 10-2 run to post their 19th victory against but 2 defeats.
Luke Perris had a strong game for PVHS with a game high 19 points along with 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Alex Madson was also in double figures with 13 tallies.
The Sharks hope to post their 20th win against top notch competition next week when they first travel to Episcopal on Tuesday before closing out their regular season against Nease at home.
