Sharks District Champs
The Sharks notched their 21st victory of the season but, more importantly, won the district title and a home game next Thursday in the first round of the FHSAA Regional Playoffs.
The Sharks led from start to finish against the Yellow Jackets and built up a 20 point lead midway through the 3rd quarter. St. Augustine went on a 10-0 to pull within ten but never got closer than 7 points of the victors the rest of the game.
Alex Madson and Luke Pirris were again the 1-2 scoring punch for PVHS. Madson netted 23 points, including 4 of 5 from behind the 3-point arc, while Pirris had a double-double with 16 points and a career high 12 rebounds.
