OLV Sluggish in Opener OLV opened the season up against St. Joseph. They showed a lot of rust by not scoring in the 1st quarter but so did St. Joe's as St. Joe's took a 2 - 0 lead after 1. The offense came to life in the 2nd as they took a 10 - 9 lead into the half. Very poor defense in the 4th quater helped St. Joseph pull away to a 34 - 20 win. Valerie Fox led the scoring with 12, Kaitlyn Powers and Claire Lavelle each added 3, and Mary Lynch 2.
