Shorthanded OLV Falls to St Catherine
OLV playing with 7 girls went to St. Catherine's. The girls started out strong holding their own, trailing 10 - 8 after the 1st. Some very bad calls hurt OLV as Collen O'Rourke picked up her 3rd foul and Claire Lavelle picked up her 2nd foul early in the 2nd sending both to the bench. This enabled St. Catherine to run away to a 26 - 10 halftime lead. Up by 34 with 2 minutes left in the game St. Catherines felt comfortable that they had a big enough cushion to let off the pressure as OLV could not overcome the deficit falling to St. Catherine 53 - 20.
