Marietta Bests Warriors
In football, field position is everything. The Tigers did just that, controled field position, keeping Warren deep in their own territory most of the game. While the tigers enjoyed a short field, the pressure was on the defense with their back to the wall, all but one Tiger drive started on the Warrior side of the field. The offense did not get untracked until the third quarter when QB Kurt Taylor connected with Brandon Simoniette for a 72 yard TD pass. Senior Clay Miller led the way on defense amassing 8 tackles, three of which saved Tiger TDs. Warren travels to Point PLeasant, W.Va to take on the Big Blacks this friday.
