Warriors Best Spartans
Warren came out firing on offense and a defense that smacked the Spartan offense around all evening to come away with the 33-21 win, the first Senior Night win in many years. The senior class led the way with Landon Wigal all over the field on defense the senior had 14 tackle, four tackles for loss for 26 yards, spending his night in the Spartan backfield dishing out hit after hit on the QB. Joined by Senior Tyler Schafer (7 Tackles, 3 hurries and a Tackle For Loss) the duo made life for the Spartan offense miserable. Offensively Schafer provided 77 yds rushing, 128 receiving with 2 TD''''''''s to spark the Warrior offense. Clay Miller scored rushing and receiving, with Brandon Simonetti scoring on a 35 yard run. Sophomore QB Kurt Taylor added 164 yards passing for 2 TDs moving to 995 yards passing for the season. The warriors finish the season at John Marshall where they try to end the season on a two game streak.
