PEE WEE SHAMROCKS BEAT OYSTER BAY 31-20
The Pee Wee Shamrocks traveled to Oyster Bay this past Saturday Sept 22. It was hot and sunny but the Shamrocks were ready for battle. Capts Steven Kenny, Michael Krzyzanowski, Danny Hoff and Luke Hanning called the toss and the Shamrocks elected to receive.
On their 2nd play, the Offense led by QB Mario Cimino handed off to Jordan Jessup who followed great blocking by his RB's Robert Kollmer, Danny Hoff, Theo Stathis, WR Christian Paulich and OL of CJ Galimi, Charlie Bostwick, Keith Servello, Anthony Russo, Kyle Hilgendorf, Michael Krzyzanowski and Tyler Runolfsson, Jessup bolted up the middle for a 60 yard TD.

The Shamrock defense led by the DE's Michael Torres, Richard Wood, DL, Patrick Minihane, Charlie Bostwick, Jordan Jessup, Liam Malsy, Cameron Manzi, Matt Ostrander and Dionte Scott, LB's Robert Kollmer, Steven Kenny and Anthony Cimino, Safeties Luke Hanning and Bobby Martin were ready for battle. After giving up an early TD, the defense held the Oyster Bay Offense in check with solo tackles made by Jessup, A. Cimino, Kollmer, Wood, Torres, Bostwick and Martin.

While the defense was steady the offense continued to dominate with TD runs by Danny Hoff for 55 and 50 yards, the Shamrocks led 18-13 at the half.

The defense was called upon for a quick stop to start the 3rd quarter and forced a turnover on downs. Both defenses made stops until the beginning of the 4th quarter when Hoff took a pitch and followed Stathis, Kollmer, Jessup and Mario Cimino for 17 yards and his 3rd TD of the game.

The Shamrocks Defense followed with a strip of the ball and a fumble recovery by Jessup. The offense wasted no time and handed off to Theo Stathis who ran a sweep for a 26 yard TD, his first of the season and a Shamrock 31-13 lead.

The Defense was ready for an Oyster Bay comeback, Robert Kollmer, Liam Malsy, Cameron Manzi and Patrick Minihane all came up with great stops but the Oyster Bay Offense scored to cut the lead to 31-20.

The Shamrock Offense turned to Charlie Bostwick, Luke Hanning and Anthony Cimino to get some tough yards and run out the clock.
