PLATTSBURGH — Down 3-1, the Cadets scored two third-period goals to salvage a tie against the Hornets. Paul Fine-Lease opened scoring for Plattsburgh High 6:28 into the game. Just 1:30 later, Nate Boule put the Hornets ahead 2-0. After a La Salle goal late in the first period, Seth Atwood put Plattsburgh back up by two goals at the 14:13 mark of the second period. Hornets coach Jamie Reidy said Dean Dashnaw, who made 31 stops, gave his team a chance to win. Overall, Reidy said Plattsburgh started strong but was unable to hold of La Salle. “We got of to a good start and had good jump in the first, and then both teams got into penalty trouble, and there was not much flow to the game,” Reidy said. “La Salle is a much improved team this year and played a good game.
