My name is Antonio Workman I am the New Jersey District Director responsible for Football (flag, tackle), Cheerleading and Dance for areas encompassing New Jersey north of and including Hudson, Mercer and Monmouth Counties. This initiative provides established associations, league or teams an opportunity to partner with NJ AAU Football, Cheerleading and Dance programs. Associations, leagues or teams affiliations will NOT change. NJ AAU can assist in reducing teams operating cost by providing AAU membership that includes insurance coverage for your athletes, coaches and volunteers additional insurance is available for events. Your coaches and volunteers sign up for background checks online and take our FREE online Coaches’ Education for all AAU Non-Athletes. NJ AAU can assist your league or teams to search for new athletes and market your events by utilizing our database for your AAU sanction league or teams events and news. Local organizations (PAL, Recreation, YMCA, etc.) can easily have facilities sanctioned and issued insurance coverage for AAU approved practices and events (based on their rental policies). AAU is one of the largest, non-profit, volunteer (multi-sport) organizations in the United States and the oldest not-for-profit organization in the world dedicated exclusively to the development of amateur sports. An AAU membership is good for all of our 30+ sports. For only $14 for youth athletes, and $16 for non-athletes, you can participate in any or all of our offered sports. I am available to discuss our 2015 AAU initiative for sports development and see how AAU can work best for your organization. Click to Download our Overview Document.
