The tradition of Dominating Lubbock Schools in the Playoffs by Franklin is making the people at Monterey and Coronado crazy. Congratulations to both the JV and Varsity teams for a great tournament performance! Keep up the great work that your coaches and you are doing! I really like FHS baseball webpage-great stuff which keeps me up to date. As you can imagine, I miss cheering for our Courgars, eating sunflower seeds and cornnuts, chatting it up with the parents and, of course, taking pictures. I look forward to the next game! Way to beat the Bulldogs and not get intimidated!!! Keep up the hard work and stay focused!! You're awesome. Special mention (of course) of OP #1 who hit a double an a triple against the Bulldogs and was great defensively behind the plate. To the Varsity team: Guys don't let them "dogs" get to you. You have been Blessed with athletic gifts and skills and families who have sacrificed to nourish and nurture your hopes and dreams. Its time to look within and decide to give more, work harder and focus longer. There is still plenty to accomplish. Make sure this chapter in your baseball journey reads the way you want. If not you, then who, if not now, then when. "Game Time" must reflect all the sacrifice and commitment that you have poured into the past 4 years during the offseason and season.
