MECHANICSBURG March 22, 2020 12:07:08 PM Entry ID: 2112554 | I would like to wish the Hagerstown Braves good luck and a smooth transition from the West Shore Twilight Baseball League (WSTBL) to the South Penn League. The Braves were a welcome addition to the WSTBL when they entered several years ago, always presenting themselves as competitive opponents while maintaining a spirit of sportsmanship and demonstrating class. Their players were committed to the league and the game as evidenced by their willingness to travel more miles, to away games, than any other team in the league. They were the true road warriors of the WSTBL, to my knowledge, never having to forfeit a game or show up short handed or even late. It was my personal pleasure to have gotten to know and work with the leader of the Braves, Mike Kipe, who is a man of honor and true character. Mike was , and I'm sure will always be, ready to lend a hand to make the league better. During his tenure as a coach, he was always well prepared and willing to provide valuable insight for the betterment of the WSTBL. When called upon, Mike did not hesitate to become even more involved as both a coach and an officer of the league. I have to say that the Hagerstown Braves are fortunate to have Mike at the helm. Thank you Mike. Once again Braves, good luck this year and in the future! |

I am mising some information and hopefully someone will be able to provde the missing pieces. I need stats from the 1977 and 1978 teams. Also, any information such as stats, game results, rosters from 1988-1992. Dell Ahalt and Randy Butts were managing the team and little information was kept.
