If People would remember that Football should be fun, it is not a life it is a game. This 12 year old boy wants to play, let him play. What would you do if he was your little boy? |

On my team there was one player that did everything he could to lose enough weight to be able to play, and he did it. I also remember playing against another team from a different city that let a young man that was wayyy over the weight limit play. it was scary for me and for a few of my team mates. I am sure this young man is a very nice young man, but there are rules set in place for a reason. Saftey is the major issue right now with football at all levels. I can appreciate your orginazation's efforts in wanting this young man to play but, rules are rules and he could hurt someone without trying to or even knowing that he did. I for one stand behind MPWFA for standing up for the rules that have been set. what kind of example are we making for our children when we try to go against a rule that is set in place by, causing such a comotion about it. rules are made to be followed. please lets be fair and follow the rules.
