Erie PA October 4, 2016 2:24:23 PM Entry ID: 2078983 | Good Afternoon, It is 2:11PM and I just wanted to say the following: If you hit a ground ball to the SS and they bounce it to first base and your safe it is an error not a hit. If there is a man on first base and you hit a ball in the hole and the short stop gets to it and tries to get the force at second base regardless if the runner is safe or out it is a Fielders Choice not a hit. If there is a man on first base and you hit a single to right field and the ball goes through the right fielders legs and the runner from first base scores you do not i repeat you do not get the rbi. If a ground ball is it hard right at an infielder and he bobbles it then makes the throw to first base but you beat it out it is an error not a single. If there is 1st & 2nd and you hit a ball up the middle to the center fielder and the guy from second base scores but the throw rattles around and the guy from first base scores as well you do not get 2 rbi. Also, If you haul @ss down the base line to get an infield hit or you haul @ss around the bases for an inside the park home run but still get a pinch runner and to boot your playing the outfield running all over for fly balls and you still get a pinch runner that is comical. Furthermore, The taking of so many pitches & complaining to the umpire about the strike zone is also very funny...the pitchers throw 14 mph and batters grinding out walks - ha !!! Might as well eliminate the pitcher and make him play up the middle and set a tee at home plate and play that way. |
