NORTH BABYLON August 10, 2015 12:58:33 PM Entry ID: 2067124 | I was saddened to hear about my friend Norm Carter's passing a few week's ago. He was not only my friend but he was my mentor here at SCFOA. He was also the assignor for many years for the PAL, all he did was line peoples pockets with money and never asked for anything. We will miss him as an official and contributor to our association. |

West Islip May 3, 2015 8:43:59 PM Entry ID: 2063509 | It is sadly that we will begin another Fall HS football seasons in 2015 without one of our longtime members and past president, Mr. James Oliveri. All of us know he was taken from this earth far to early and extremely fast over the, 2014 Fall season. Jim was a true spokesman for the game and more importantly his fellow officiating colleagues. Always tried to improve his mastery and love of the game and to further help in many ways with helping to improve the association we all feel passionate about. We will surely miss him around and on the Gridiron of the County of Suffolk Long Island NY. May Jim rest in peace and his infectious laugh and smile look down upon All of us, God Bless |
