Kuala Lumpar October 8, 2007 8:52:06 PM Entry ID: 1225481 | What a place. This town is crazy! You can throw the road rules out of the window - nobody cares, you don't even have to wear a seatbelt, it's ridiculous! Setting aside the pollution, it's an amazing country and being able to spend it with my amazing wife is awesome. Anyway, just thought I would add a Malaysian feel to the guestbook. Highlights so far: after an 8-hour overnight flight, finding out that your reservation at the hotel didn't exist; getting mistaken for Keanu Reeves; getting offered stolen goods (declined!); stealing toilet usage (have to pay apparently); getting woken up by fireworks through the night due to upcoming Ramadan; interrupting two guys using the same urinal; navigating through the maze-like malls; smuggling a camera into their one and only casino; travelling on a 4km cable car; spending 4 hours looking for a shoe shop for Rachel; being continually harassed to buy crappy goods in Chinatown; and last but not least getting married! |
Rob Horskins Nürnberg, Germany September 30, 2007 6:25:36 AM Entry ID: 1219306 | Hi all. Thought that it was time to check in again. We have now made it over to Germany for the beginning of the third leg of our journey. Just to wrap up the East Coast of the US, we made it to the Yankees to see an absolute rip snorter of a game. The long and the short of it was that the Yankees were 0-4 down going into the bottom of the 9th when they come steaming back with a massive home crowd going berserk!! It was one of the most electrifying, spine tingling experiences of my life. The unfortunate thing is that the Yankees ended up going down in the 14th innings, just after midnight!! Since then we have visited Niagra Falls and Washington DC and a number of other punk towns along the way. We now find ourselves in Europe for what will be a hectic four weeks or so travelling to all sorts of places. Still managed to check in on the Grand Final scores though. I think someone forgot to tell Port that they were due to play in the Grand Final. It sounds like they forgot to show up!! I guess we won't be hearing from Jimmy & Co for a little while!! |

New York September 21, 2007 2:52:55 AM Entry ID: 1212326 | Well, we've managed to finish our tour on the West Coast and have now moved onto the East. We've arrived in the Big Apple this morning and will be here for the next four or five days. No time for relaxing though as this place is MASSIVE!! Off to see the Yankees play tomorrow night which will be a personal highlight for me. They are currently on a 12-2 streak so have hit some good form just in time for us. Of course, there are all the other sights that are a must here, including a visit to the World Trade Center site. We'll head out on Monday sometime to Niagra Falls and will briefly leave the US to venture into Canada before making our way down to Washington DC. We're all having a great time, especially now that our group has trimmed down from 7 to 5!! Yes, Chris and Kane are on their way home right now. Dare I say it ..... YIPPEE!!!! Go the Yankees!! |

Seaford on the Rise September 3, 2007 3:22:02 PM Entry ID: 1198642 | How good were those 1994 dunks? Better still, how about the courtside advertising?! Who can forget great names like Eagle Super, Sega and Carroll's Pine Centre? Talk about a "where are they now" segment!
PS. Upon reflection and with recent revelations, A.Gaze must have been on the gear to get up that high. Better check to see if he has close links to Joey Johns (I hope A.Gaze doesn't pull a Cecil Exum on me for saying that). PPS. Hope you got that @#$^* Anne Geddes repro of me posing as Josiah off your site, or I will contacting my lawyer (wife) ..... |

Cooperstown August 24, 2007 4:12:54 PM Entry ID: 1191353 | James Smith...too old too slow. Time to hang up the boots and take up lawn bowls. Your team is too slow to keep up with anyone. Give it away old man.
Editor's Note: Good to know we have fans in Bendigo. We'll pass this on to James - he loves hearing this sort of stuff. Fair cop that he's slowed down a bit, but a serious injury will do that to you. As for the team, we think they're doing OK but we are slightly biased. |
James Smith Tau Game Lodge, Madikwe July 22, 2007 3:51:16 AM Entry ID: 1166887 | Greetings from Madikwe Game Lodge. Thought I'd register another vote for the "world map". Uru! |
James Smith Pretoria, South Africa July 19, 2007 2:15:43 AM Entry ID: 1164895 | G'day Guestbook! Thought I'd say hi and register another vote for the "world map" page. Congratulations to the carnival guys on a great win last week - if I don't say so myself! |

Adelaide July 15, 2007 4:50:13 PM Entry ID: 1162535 | Dad's thinking about permanently playing for Victoria because he can't get a game with you guys. LOL. Stupid Victorians.
Editor's Note: Charles, we'll pass this on FSABA Coach James Smith as our impression is that South Australia's A Grade Men team would love to have your Dad in the team. Stay tuned for next year! |

Adelaide June 30, 2007 12:42:27 PM Entry ID: 1153536 | Hey guys, nice site! I realise this is far too late but it has turned out that I am free carnival week. Is it at all possible at this incredibly late stage for me to be so bold as to throw my hat into the mix, possibly as a bench gig? If it's not viable, no hard feelings! Craig Merrett.
Editor's Note: Craig, we'll pass this on to Rob Horskins and FSABA Coach James Smith immediately. |

June 26, 2007 12:50:35 PM Entry ID: 1150518 | There you go guys. There is at least one way to stop a moving train! Thanks for the season guys. It was great and last night was no different - a close and exciting game! Looking forward to next season already. Good luck for the carnival. |

June 19, 2007 12:25:46 AM Entry ID: 1145537 | Nice game. Nice game indeed.
Editor's Note: This comment referred to the Thunder's 28-points in 9 minutes comeback in the SABASA Preliminary Final. |
Craig Bergin May 28, 2007 12:28:21 PM Entry ID: 1131081 | This seems like the best place to ask some questions of you boys regarding the upcoming Salvo carnival. I was on a teleconference regarding the carnival yesterday and it seems we only have 3 Mens A teams this year - WA, SA & Sydney. No Qld, and all the Victorian divisions claim to be unable to field an A grade side, even if they combined as one Vic side. It was decided that we would not combine A & B as has been tried in the past due to there usually being several B grade sides that get belted by the A graders. A question I posed to Mandy, which she is going to discuss with James, is whether it is possible for you guys to get a second A grade side, perhaps from your churches competition. Or preferably you guys split into two and give us a better chance of winning this year, as four in a row is plenty for you. Getting a fourth side will just make things a bit more interesting for the week. Sorry to hear about Paul Mitchell's injury, as it's always been a good battle against him out on the court, but I'm sure you guys will find some 6ft 8+ replacement for him. We are probably of a similar standard to last year - me, Liddelow, Craig Anderson, Nathan Freind, a new 6ft4 forward and two young guards who should go OK. Looking forward to the carnival - I'm not retiring until we win one more so I plan on this being our year.
Editor's Note: Craig, we'll pass this on to FSABA Carnival Coach James Smith. For what it's worth, I doubt SA could field two A Grade sides as most of the usual suspects are carrying injuries at the minute. As for the possibility of an SA Church side - well, we can only ask. Feel free to email James directly about this (Rob has the address if you need it). |
Coah Gondolf Washington DC May 27, 2007 6:34:02 AM Entry ID: 1130544 | Hey all, The web editors will get upset if I don't put something on the guestbook and get more little dots on their map, so here it is. Josh. |
Kate Hutson Barbados May 19, 2007 5:38:51 PM Entry ID: 1125441 | Greetings from the West Indies. I've been over here for the Cricket World Cup and should return to Australia soon. Have had a great time. See ya's all when I get back. |

April 19, 2007 4:25:49 PM Entry ID: 1102086 | Hey guys, hope all is well. Is it too late to register for the carnival in July? Cause there has been a bit of a change in plans and we may be able to put a team together. Just wondering what the latest date to register is? I'll find out more on Monday if I dont hear from you before.
Editor's Note: Paul Hocking available for the carnival? You little ripper! We'll pass your details on to FSABA A Grade Men carnival coach James Smith and he'll get back to you with more info. |

Woodcroft March 25, 2007 6:20:13 PM Entry ID: 1081169 | G'day to all the Thunder fans out there and thanks for not forgetting my b'day thunder site. Sorry to hear about your ankle Jim all the best for a fast recovery. Also like to mention (more so to blow me own trumpet) that I top scored for the Somerton Sumos with 18 pts in our 60 something loss to 40. (Yes I know what your all thinking I came so close to scoring half the Sumos points) |

adelaide January 19, 2007 8:22:49 AM Entry ID: 1033993 | Hey Somerton! The new season is aproaching fast and the Jets are pumped after having a good preseason, but it seems that you guys have your act together as well and will have a good team. I was wanting to know if the stats from the last season will be avalable any time soon? Can't wait for the tip-off! Go Jets!
Editor's Note: We'll have the 2006b stats on the website as soon as possible, likely in the first few weeks of February. |
Frequent flyer Sydney, NSW, Australia November 1, 2006 10:04:49 AM Entry ID: 979054 | Greetings from Sydney! Love the website. Sad to hear about Stuart Dew leaving Port but you'll get over it. Ol' Thunder thighs can be replaced, perhaps by the Bish! |

September 13, 2006 10:35:05 AM Entry ID: 932067 | You guys have a web sight? Raise hands whos i need of getting a life!
Editor's Note: Yes, I would've thought that was fairly obvious, but technically it's referred to as a website. We can't really answer the second sentence because it isn't a question. It needs a question mark. However, assuming you're asking who needs to get a life ..... well, you visited here, didn't you? 6390 fans seem to think it's a good idea. |

August 20, 2006 11:52:03 PM Entry ID: 913325 | How about my b'day being on the calendar? I also remember myself being a fan of the month not to long ago!!! Been reading that the Thunder (nananananana) are having trouble filling the bench. Just suggesting that the coach and Thunder (nananananana) recruiting staff should be looking to their junior teams, particularly the Sumos with a young star in the making by the name of Ben Kinnaird. He's following up a great last season with top scoring in their last few games after coming back from a career ending injury, and has now top scored in their second game of this season. Oh and there's one more thing. What was it? ..... Oh yeah, that's it! Thunder (nananananana).
Editor's Note: Ben, seeing you're playing for the Thunder regularly - at least once per season from what we see - if you send me your personal details and a photo (refer to the players' pages for an example), we'll not only put your birthday on the calendar - we'll give you your own webpage! |

adelaide August 17, 2006 7:11:10 PM Entry ID: 910983 | Hey guys, Charles again here. I just looked at the calendar and I was offended you haven't got my birthday on here. Don't you remember that I was the fan of the month (a couple of months ago)? It's on the 8th of September.
Editor's Note: Well Charles, we didn't know! Thanks for the info. We've added it to the calendar. |
