Maccan August 24, 2014 9:37:20 PM Entry ID: 2057645 | Quite a day in Noel Road! Game 5--Noel Road 2 Pictou County 1. Game 6 Noel Road 4 Yarmouth 3 in 8 innings Aaron Nickerson had a home run. This forced a game7. It was a 9-0 forfeit by Yarmouth to Noel Road with Noel Road leading at the time. As is customary in a forfeit all statistics and the score are wiped out and the result is recorded as a 9-0 forfeit. |

McLellan August 23, 2014 9:10:30 AM Entry ID: 2057588 | Wouldn't a simple fix be to break the divisions up where you place the 1 seed from the NSIBL in pool A, the 1 seed from metro in Pool B, the 2 seed from metro in Pool A, the 2 seed from NSIBL in Pool B, the 3 seed from the NSIBL in Pool A, 3 from metro in Pool B and continue with this pattern. And base your seedings off each teams final league standings? |

EP69 August 22, 2014 2:43:49 PM Entry ID: 2057562 | No AAA should be 10 teams, you're right. |
Josh Priest Spry August 22, 2014 2:20:42 PM Entry ID: 2057561 | So apparently I got burned by cheney? who the hell Is cheney anyway?Right on hero! Both Hammond plains and Halifax has beaten the top 3 teams in our league. But hey keep ripping our league up. Looks good |
Admin August 22, 2014 1:58:57 PM Entry ID: 2057560 | Provincial Championship game is confirmed for Sept 1st at 12pm in Hantsport. |
EP69 August 22, 2014 1:32:06 PM Entry ID: 2057559 | Nailed it Josh, having two sub 500 teams instead of Pictou, Hants, NR and Yarmouth is frightening. When I heard about us getting a bye, I almost bought a plane ticket and fled to ebola country, I was that freaked out. "Cheney make comment, me angry, ooooooggga booooogggaa!!!!" A six or 8 team tourney of the top teams without a bye, in other words a level playing field isnt much to ask. Twist that statement into whatever you want to. |
Admin August 22, 2014 1:20:18 PM Entry ID: 2057556 | I know I have an interest in meeting. |
Matt PC August 22, 2014 1:09:12 PM Entry ID: 2057555 | Totally agree higgy!! |
Admin August 22, 2014 12:53:53 PM Entry ID: 2057554 | I don't think that just the presidents should be the only ones meeting. Why doesn't a rep from each team or 2 from each team also meet with them get this hashed out over a coffee or 8 or 9. |

Halifax August 22, 2014 12:21:38 PM Entry ID: 2057553 | I had a chance to speak to Barry, and we to meet in the offseason to draft a framework for future Intermediate Provincials. I acknowledge this season's layout isn't an ideal scenario for either league. I assure everyone this will not be an issue 2015 onward. If you wish to participate, or have ideas for a solution - forward them to your respective league's President. Best of luck to all teams this weekend. Let's have some fun, and see how it all plays out. Hope to see a full house on Monday in Hantsport at Shamrock Field for the final. |
