The other league still tries to take your ideas, but you are light years ahead....Can you believe how proud they were to finally pay their winners on time? Is that not what was supposed to be done anyway??? R they looking for a parade or something? Happy New Year to all, and can't wait to play in 2010. Hey, heard you are planning on Sat & Sunday in 2010? Any truth to it???? |

Walter Pirates August 27, 2009 9:33:47 PM Entry ID: 1686684 | Rich, thanks for running a good and competitive league. The Pirates will be back anytime and we’re looking to make a bit more noise the next time around. |
Cheo Flushing August 27, 2009 12:38:49 PM Entry ID: 1686291 | Thank you Rick & I want to thank the Indians for a well played Championship. Unlike in some other leagues there were no fights, just 2 very good teams battling it out for the Championship. Keep your head up Rick, you & Charlie have a very good team & there are alot of jealous people out there who wish they could accomplish what you guys have done this year & in the past. All I know is whenever we were in the same league, we have always seen each other in the Playoffs. I want to thank Rich for running an organized League & I also want to thank the other teams & I hope to see you all in the Fall or next year. |
For a 1st timer in the league...
Full Impact ville August 21, 2009 12:10:28 AM Entry ID: 1681997 | I have to say kudos so far to QLSA. I won't comment on the issues being discussed in the previous posts because I am not familiar with all the facts. But I have been meaning to come on here and give the league "a pat on the back" for doing a pretty damn good job this year. All of my players, when they decide to show (lol) agree that this league is run well. Umps are fair with their calls...and the fact that there is usually 2 umps only helps in my opinion. As far as the fields go, yeah there were issues at first but that was remedied and the league got as many games in. As far as the playoffs go, even though there was rain, the league moved fast in making games up and they haven't dragged on. I wasn't personally at the all star game but from the sounds of it that was a great show and time. I've seen nothing wrong with this league so far except really for the tripleheaders but if the commish is true to his word, as he has been this year, he won't make that same mistake next year. Kudos QLSA on a great year...so far! peace Ces |
Charlie M Indians August 14, 2009 12:38:48 AM Entry ID: 1678122 | Hey Rich, just wanted to say thank you for the delivery of all your promises. You said the begining of the season would be a bit rocky and you promised extra fields and delivered to the contrary of other ill wishers. You said you would have an outstanding Allstar game with uni's, food, money prises and awards for MVPs', Pitchers and HR Derby winners and you delivered. I was really happy to get my $500 regular season division chip check on Monday, even before the playoffs started and I'm sure that the others LaFamila, Alcoholics and Coast are happy they already got paid in full for their regular season division accomplishments. Looks like a total of $1,900 has been paid out already as promised at the end of the regular season and the playoffs are just starting. Your league has alot of integrity. Keeep up the great work, the Indians are happy to be part of the QLSA. And yeah, thanks for the team trophy which came as a surprise, as it was an unmentioned toss in. You keep your word in everything you promise and more. The league is top notch. |

Full IMpact Ville June 3, 2009 9:32:05 AM Entry ID: 1636687 | Not sure what happened the other night with Heavy Hitters..I've heard alot of sides to the story and I don't know what to make of it. But just wanted to say that when teams are there on time and the umps start on time and keep things moving, the games go on and off without a hitch. We started our doubleheader at 7:30 and were done by 9:40. Other than rainouts and blackouts...so far so good with QLSA...site is updated...everything pretty professional...hope it stays that way! Peace Ces |
RTR QLSA League Director May 25, 2009 9:58:19 PM Entry ID: 1631328 | To QLSA fan: Thanks for writing and taking notice, but I need to clarify something. This league excels over any other because of the prize structure. First of all, nothing has been won as of yet as evidenced by last years Heavy Hitter upset over a favored Indians in the best 2 of 3 Championship series. In addition, let us not take anything away from LaFamilia who split with Coast last week. That is why this league is so fantastic, who knows who will win in the end? Also, I failed to mention that their are 10, yes 10 cash prizes. Why? As to not have a winner take all and leave others making a donation to the best team. We also have a consolation playoff, where two of the weaker teams walk away with some green. Maybe not the top prize, but they get something. How many leagues do that???? RTR |
GONZO(Umpire) May 2, 2009 8:12:03 PM Entry ID: 1616497 | Just want to thank Rich and all the teams in QLSA for welcoming me to their league. Definitely enjoyed my first night on wednesday. The road to the chip looks very tough as the competition will be fierce. All teams who played on wednesday night (Bucs,La Familia,Heavy Hitters)all have a legitimate shot at the prize. Good luck to all the teams in the league and I will see you all soon. Most of all God Bless everyone and their families! Thanks again!!!!!!!!! |
RTR - League Director QLSA March 4, 2009 10:16:28 PM Entry ID: 1577109 | Hi... in response to all my well wishers, thanks for all the nice words. I guess I will have to do something really spectacular that the other league is not capable of copying. Do all of you agree? OK, I will go for it. This is really great. I actually find it flattering and at the same time amusing that my ideas are so valued. "Batter Up". RTR |
Check out RSC website Commish NYC March 4, 2009 9:24:14 PM Entry ID: 1577070 | Yo I played in both leagues last year and hands down yours was superior, thats probably why you expanded to 15 this year..hats off to you....I gotta tell you, two hours ago, after you sent a general text message, I went on QLSA to see if schedule was posted for the league and saw the great slide show. Funny, I checked the RSC site a few minutes later and no slide show. Now he has almost the same as you...hahahaha 2 bad U can't get a copyright or something. I compare sites and he has a similar one to you....Someting he can't copy is your originality...And natural is right, you speak and DELIVER, no issues, not true with RSC....The shame of the week goes to Rebel 2000 for not being able to deliver originalty...LOL...It is a good thing he has you as his mentor, cause last year his site was in shambles....And this year, since he has you to thank, his site has gotten better except for all the silly icons.... He might have even gotten some teams from the coping of your site, but can he keep them? His reputation is in the toilet for non payment to teams, lying, he puts games on fields without permits and I have not even scratched the surface with this guy....Thanks for giving us another place to play...Keep up the good work....Can't imagine him changing his stripes, as most usually do not... |
Neutral Party
NYC March 4, 2009 8:53:24 PM Entry ID: 1577048 | Who is this Rebel guy? Perhaps he should be renamed to "Rebel without a Clue" If he doesn't like the website, perhaps he should stay off of it. That or get a life. Dont care what the history is between you guys, just stay off the website. As a very happy player, looking for this guest book to be a informative and productive means of communication, not your 8 year old whining comments. All I know is, we played in Rich and Garys league last year and it was awesome. Everything that was promised early in year was delivered. No headaches, no nothing. We paid the entry fee, played 30 + games with playoffs, had great season and got paid as promised. As an added bonus, the All-Star game added a cool twist to the year which is one of the many reasons we are rejoining this year. Furthermore, the league looks even better this year based on the meetings and the numerous teams in league. Simply, Rebel, whoever you are, if you dont like this league or website, DON'T USE IT OR ENTER IT. JUST GET OUT!!!!!!! Lets go QLSA League.. Looking forward to a great year. Hopefully this Rebel character goes away. |

Queens January 31, 2009 3:03:39 PM Entry ID: 1553867 | I managed a team that was in Rick's league and here is my experience. On many occasions games didnt start on time, fields were occupupied by other teams and Rick did not have permits for them, forgot to tell the umpire that was supposed to work that game so they would show up hours late, forgot to tell other team they were playing us. The umpire issue happened most frequently. Hardly did a scheduled game go according to plan. Felt like a miracle when it did. Rick cant even manage his way out of a wet paper bag, forget about an entire league. Not kidding or trashing Rick..just my experience and i'm sure other teams can relate. |
player January 10, 2009 12:22:22 AM Entry ID: 1540315 | cant wait for the start of the season. These other leagues are charging so much and hardly giving anything back. One league wants 850 dollars per team with 14 teams and you only get back 2800 if you win it all and thats if he pays you.I dont know 850*14 equals 12 grand.he makes 9100 minus 1500 on permits ok thats 7600.what a scam he has going.SHAME ON ANYONE WHO PLAYS IN THE RSC LEAGUE.THIS IS THE BEST LEAGUE,YOU GET PAID ON THE FIELD.FATBOY DONT GET MAD THESE ARE HARD COLD FACTS. |
