Never put your heads down, always keep you heads held high!!! You boys had a great season 6 and 1! Out of 19 6th grade teams we were ranked NUMBER 3. OUTSTANDING! All of you have that hunger in your eyes and I know next year we will be unstoppable!!! To the boys that I have been with for the past 4 years - Corey (of course), Allen, Fyall, Blank, Reggie, Trent, Council, Leighton I have watched you play football since the mighty mite days and this year you amazed me so much. Coach Allen I admire and respect what you do for these boys and I want to thank you. You do go over and beyond your duties of a coach and really teach these kids not just about that game of football but life skills that I know they will remember always. To my other coaches - Bill, Will, Terry and Dre thanks for a great season. Nadine you deserve the cheerleader of the year award. Thank you for keeping the boy's and the crowd's spirits up at all times! To my parents new and old thank you for your patience and support. This league would not exist without you. 8th Grade - Congratulations for making it into the CVL championship playoffs. You should be proud of yourselves for that accomplishment! Congratulations to the 4th grade for making it to the Sugar Bowl, the 5th grade for making it to the Orange Bowl and the 7th grade for making it to the Rose Bowl. Bring back the trophy in each division!!!! |

Every level has achieved more than the previous year and that is a great indicator of how successfull we can be!!! Emmus/Daryl/Roc bring home the first championship for us. It will be great if you all brought home championship trophies!!! |

A big shout out to our 4 Captains who kept their heads during the game and lead their team with skill and determination. Everyone remembered it takes 1 play at a time to win a game. Kevin you rock! I knew you were fast but that was unbelievable!! Luis, I knew you had it in you!! To our Hit Squad you made the big stops when you needed to keep doing that on Sunday at home. White, Gold and Blue Offense you all showed up to play. Your determination, faith and spirit reminded you all that it isnt over til the clock shows 0:00! To our Parents thanks for all your support!! To the 4th and 7th grade teams good luck on your upcoming Championship games!! To the 6th and 8th grade teams congrats on making the Championship Playoffs. Next year will be all the way to Florida!!! bpt. October 20, 2008 1:19:25 PM Entry ID: 1485460 | What a game sunday for the 5th grade team. It was exciting as a pro football championship game. In fact it was bettr than a pro game. It had everything a football game would need have to be exciting. As a coach and a parent our Chargers showed a great deal of class and respect as they were being belittled by unrudely parents of the opposing team at half time. That was great. You not only beat them on the field but also in a silent and deadly manner. Let's keep up the good work and continue to play our tails off and handle busines saturday. Way to go offensive line you guys came through when it was most needed. Hit squad awesome job. Jordan way to carry the team as a veteran nice job running in clutch time along with Marcus. Bill, Buster the two of you did great blocking. The entire Charger's Team great unity and togetherness with you guys cheering on the side I don't know if the team would have pulled it out. EXCELLENT JOBBBB. Can't forget the team Moms nice work keeping your composure during a difficult times that will show them. |

We were in a very hostile invironment down two TD's late in the 4th quarter and pulled out a win against a very good team. I want to thank all parents and spectators who were at the game cheering these kids on and never letting them quit. Thats eactly what our community needs more of, we need the same intensity from parents and players next week when we go to Newtown. To the captains of the team, a special thanks, you guys were all business from the start of the game to the finish keeping your team confident and positive. To the O-Line and also the two blocking backs Bill & Buster we couldn't have pulled off the last drive of the game without you guys, a very big shout out goes to you fellas. Everybody enjoy the win, I will see everyone in practice, again congratulations. Also Congratulations to the 8th and 6th grade teams for their victories. 7th grad lost a tough one keep your heads up fellas. (CHARGERS ARE IN THE BUILDING). |

Mr. Pettway from the 5th grade team you are now 100% and you showed that you are the Jordan of old with 4 touchdowns on Sunday, welcome back kid. Few tough breaks for the 8th, 5th, and my 4th grade team, But the season is far from over I'm sure we'll step it up in the next few weeks, Over all I'm proud to be a part of this organization. We have a young team this year and I'm fortunate to be coaching them and preping them for up coming seasons as well as this one. 5th grade has had some tough games too but they have a great coaching staff and team and I'm sure will be finishing off on a high note. 8th grade has been playing real good definatley has had some tough games but every game has been competitive and fun to watch. We have been representing BPT to the fullest and we have to keep this progress going keep our Heads Up!!!Thanks Again for the help support to the 4th grade team real appreciate everyone.
