CHARGERS!!!!! :-) I would like to thank everyone involved with the Bridgeport Chargers for making me and my family's 2007 football experience an enjoyable one. Coach Emmus, I can never forget the other coach's name but he has the funny laugh LOL!!, and the other 4th grade coaches were wonderful. You Guys believed and pushed those boys and they grew so much this season. We will be a force to be reckoned with next year in 5th grade. In the 6th grade team i've found a new family in the coaches, the team moms, the parents, etc... you Guys made those early mornings worthwhile. Our overnight for the Rose Bowl was a wonderful idea and it was organized and executed so well. I encourage coach Allen to continue to follow his vision and to continue being there for those kids.. You are definitely making a difference. Hi Wiggins :-) You have been a pleasure and so upfront and honest with all of the parents and we really appreciate that. And last but not least, "thank you to all of the coaches of the 6th grade team for taking care of my Tyler when he broke his ankle. Nay, good lookin' out on callin' me although Dad was there "Girl Power"... I am looking forward to working with all of you to make the 2008 season, even bigger and better.. Peace |

I would particularly like to say I am very proud of the 7th grade team. They came out strong and had to unfortunately let one of their best players (Jesus) go up to the 8th grade because of his age. Despite this they competed in every game and had the opportunity to make it to the Sugar Bowl. GOOD WORK 7th GRADE. I would also like to congradulate the 4th grade team for an outstanding season! GREAT JOB EMMUS, PETTWAY and the whole staff. Wiggins and Buster great job with the 8th grade!! 7th place in your division is miles away from where we were last year. It's not over for Brideport yet the 6th grade team has the opportunity to be ROSE BOWL CHAMPIONS!! I have always told my team NEVER BE DENIED THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE CHAMPIONS!! |

However after reading Coach Allen's message on our guest book I would like to say that Coach Allen is a TRUE Coach. He states it is not all about winning and losing rather teaching the players the game and devoping them into young men and having fun.If only one player comes away from this team and has learned something than Coach Allen has done his job. We are luck to have him as a Coach |

To all players, don't just sit around on the off season, stay active play another sport or work on your push ups and some of the excercises you learned this year so it can become second nature to you, and next year you will be that much more ready and energetic. I also would like to congratulate Coach Allen and his staff for earning a spot to play in the Rose Bowl championship. I like to congratulate the players as well they worked hard all year and lost some very tough games, I think this will show them that winners never quit and quitters never win. Thank you coach Tracey, offensive coordinator, Dequan Crawford fumbled at the ten yard line for the winning drive, the chargers 'D' played hard to get the ball back, and coach Tracey went right back to Dequan for the game winning touchdown with just minutes left. Go get that Rose Bowl Championship. Remember JUST WIN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
