West Palm Beach January 25, 2009 3:11:17 AM Entry ID: 1549285 | Fast Lane! Fast Lane! Where would I be if it wasn’t for Fast Lane? I've been running with fast lane for two years. After returning from State Championships my senior year and attending my 2007 graduation, I was back on the track training, but this time with a new coach, a new team, and a new foundation. The coaches are an asset in what I need to apprehend to attain my goals. Recognizing the coaches dedication in assisting, I become overwhelmed with excitment, and my motivation is really driven. I stay focus, and I work hard. The quote that I have instilled in myself when training is "The pain is the weakness that is leaving my body." Along with my quote, Coach Walker has instilled a quote in myself as well as the track club: "It's hard, but it's fair." With the blood, sweat, and especially the tears, fast lane has shaped and molded me into the successful athlete slash adult that I am today. Fast lane track club is a great organization, which keeps young children and young adults such as myself off the streets and out of trouble. We develop a family foundation and become very close with our fellow team-mates. In addition, fast lane track club produces a laughing, crying, exciting, encouraging, motivational, social, and inspiring environment. No matter where I may go or what I will be in life, I will never forget where my foundation initiated and that's Fast Lane Track Club.
Thank you Coach Walker for everything! You are an important factor in my life!
If it's God's will, I will be attending the Universiy of Miami fall 2009. GO CANES!!!!

Just dropping by to show some love and to let you all know that I will be putting together a highlights and memory dvd of this year's track season. Whenever it's completed, I will holla back, hoot, hoot! LOL. Anyway, I miss you all already. Also, I know the summer will end in a matter of a week and some, but I was hoping that we all could get together just one last time before the summer ends to reflect on good times and all that good stuff... not to mention, my birthday is August 16 and what better people to share it with than FAMILY!!! 56ace July 26, 2008 5:39:10 AM Entry ID: 1426442 | I love our team and our coaches so much.Coach walker really loves this.He puts his heart into every workout we do!You can see it in his eyes when he's pushing us to cross the finish line strong he makes sure we do.Just as we cross the finish line strong on the track we will do the same in life with the positive motivation from the team.I feel myself grow as a runner as well as a person everyday i go to practice.The first day i went 2 practice i couldnt walk i was in so much pain i didnt really want to go back but i just kept hearing my coaches words"IT'S HARD BUT ITS FAIR!" and all i had been seeing was the hard but now i can really see the fair!I love this team and i hope its around long enough for me to put my children in it! |
