NEWSDAY COVERAGE AND PHOTOS OF STUFF-A-BUS
Our first annual Stuff-A-Bus fundraiser
was a complete success.
The goal was to fill the bus with non-perishable goods and then donate them to St. Rose of Lima food pantry to assist our community.
We surpassed our goal and actually filled two busses.
One bus with non-perishable goods and the other with over 1,000 new unwrapped toys.
We'd like to thank the community for their outpouring of support and Pride Home Improvements of Massapequa for donating the toys.
As always, thanks to the members of the Senior Nation. Without you, this would simply be an idea. You've turned it into positive action!
I could not be more proud of your efforts.
