Green Wave Secures #2 Seed with 2-0 Win over Kingswood

Green Wave celebrated victory on Senior Night Saturday at Dover Arena.  Dover scored twice and Luc Ravenelle threw a shutout at the Knights from Kinsgswood.  Dover is now in sole possesion of Second Place in the Div II State Ice Hockey standings and will host a home QuarterFinal playoff round at Dover Arena on Saturday, 03.08.3014 4:00PM against the winner for #7 Merrimack and #10 Kingswood.

Goals on the evening were scored by Brett Baumgardner and Cam Crowley.  Greg Stohrer and Ben Henderson recorded assists and Ravenelle had 25 saves in the shutout.

Seniors Nick Hudson, Adam White, Ben Henderson, Brett Baumgardner and Reed Laakso along with their family were recognized before the game for their contributions to the program.  Best of Luck to them in their future endeavors.

Dover Knocks off Alvirne as it Marches Towards Playoffs

 

Cam Crowley had a goal and three assists to lead the Dover High School boys hockey team to an 8-2 Division II win over Alvirne on Thursday at the Dover Ice Arena.

Also scoring for the Green Wave (14-3) were Connor Gaffney (assist), Robert Markusic (assist), Greg Stohrer (assist), Griffin Guerra (assist), Kieran Lombard, Mitchell Welch and Jesse Frase. Nick Hudson and Brad Bishop each had two assists.

In goal, Luc Ravenelle had eight saves and Nick Martinen added nine.

Dover Drops Bobcats 3-1 - Sweeps Season Series

The Dover High School boys ice hockey team knocked off Oyster River 3-1 in a closely played contest at Dover Arena.  Cam Crowley scored with under two minutes left and Kieran Lombard scored and empty netter to seal the win with 19 seconds left to play.

Mitchell Welch also scored on the evening and Ben Henderson, Griffin Guerra and Greg Stohrer all had assists. Luc Ravenelle was steady in the nets in the defensive battle.

Dover Drops Timby 4-2 in Makeup of Snow Cancelled Game

 

The Dover High School boys ice hockey team improved to 12-3 in Division with Monday’s 4-2 win over Timberlane.

Jesse Frase, Brett Baumgardner, Griffin Guerra and Cam Crowley all scored for the Green Wave, while Mike Comeau, Robert Markusic (two) and Tim Burke had assists. Nick Martinen made 23 saves in goal.

Dover hosts Oyster River Wednesday

Dover Storms Thru Spaulding 5-1

Dover won a key DIV II showdown with rival Spaulding 5-1 Saturday night at Rochester Arena.

Cam Crowley scored 3 goals and an assist.  Other goals scored by Kieran Lombard and Mitchell Welch.  Robert Markusic, Griffin Guerra and Lombard all had assists as well.   Luc Ravenelle had 32 saves on 33 shots against the Red Raiders

 

Bedford Bests Dover 6-4 to Remain Unbeaten

Bedford handed Dover a 6-4 loss at Dover Arena last night to improve to 13-0 on the season.

Cam Crowley had three goals for Dover.  Griffin Guerra collected a goal and an assist while Tim Burke pitched in with an assist as well.  Luc Ravenelle had 25 saves in net on the evening.

Dover Upends Spaulding 4-2

Dover took the front end of the annual home & home series against Spauliding with a 4-2 victory at Dover Arena on Wednesday evening.  The loss was the first on the season for the Red Raiders.  Luc Ravenelle held strong in the cage with 33 saves while Adam White scored the game winner mid-way through the third period on a nice feed from Nick Hudson.  Keiran Lombard, Robert Markusic also scored with Cam Crowley adding an empty netter late in the third. 

Dover 5-3 Over Keene at Cheshire

Dover kept to their winning ways with a 5-3 road victory over the Keene High Blackbirds at Cheshire Arena Saturday night.  Luc Ravenelle had 27 saves on the night and the Green Wave recieved goals from Griffin Guerra, Brad Bishop, Ben Henderson, Cam Crowley and Tim Burke

Green Wave Steals Overtime Thriller From Merrimack - 3-2

Cam Crowley scored in overtime to lead Dover to a 3-2 overtime victory against Merrimack HS at Dover Arena.  Luc Ravenelle had 19 saves for the Green Wave.

Dover Beats Winnacunnet 7-1

Dover Dispenses of Windham-Pelham 4-2

 

The Green Wave visited the Salem Ice Center on Saturday evening for a Div II tilt against Windham-Pelham and bested the home squad by a score of 4-2.  Mitchell Welch and Kieran Lombard each scored twice for the Green Wave helped by assists from Griffin Guerra(2) and Brad Bishop.  Dover is now 5-1 on the season and will next host Winnacunnet at Dover Arena on Wednesday evening.  

Dover Gets Back on The Winning Side With 7-1 Victory at Home

Dover High Boys Hockey returned to the friendly confines of Dover Arena and reeled off a 7-1 victory over Somersworth Coe Brown.  The score sheet was filled with Green Wave as goals were scored by Cam Crowley(3), Robert Makusic(2), Bryce Szcekan and Kieran Lombard. Luc Ravenelle and Nick Martinen split time in the cage for the Green Wave. Dover hits the road Saturday for a game against Windham-Pelham in Salem. 

Bow Wins Battle of the Unbeatens 6-3

 

Dover High Boys Hockey lost their first game of the season last night in a 6-3 defeat at the hands of unbeaten Bow Falcons. Kieran Lombard, Griffin Guerra and Tim Burke scored for the Green Wave.  Dover tied the contest 3-3 early in the third but could muster no more as Bow tallied three unanswered.  Dover returns to action on Wednesday against Somersworth-Coe Brown at Dover Arena. 

Dover Tops Lebanon In Home Opener

 

Dover High Boys Hockey put together a solid effort in their home opener defeating the Lebanon Raiders 5-2 at Dover Arena on Saturday night. Mitch Welch and Robert Markusic each scored single tallies while Cam Crowley hustled to a hat trick for the Green Wave.  Luc Ravenelle put forth another solid effort between the pipes for Dover.

Offensive Explosion for GreenWave over Kingswood

 

 

Six different players scored for the Dover Boys Hockey Team in an 8-1 win at Kingswood on Wednesday in a Div II clash at Pop Whalen Arena in Wolfboro.  Ben Henderson and Cam Crowley each had two goals with single tallies from Bryce Sczekan, Mitch Welch, Brett Baumgardner and Kieran Lombard.  Goalie Luc Ravenelle had 19 saves in the GreenWave cage on the evening.  Dover returns to action Saturday for it's home opener against Lebanon.

Green Wave Bounces Bobcats in 2013-14 Season Opener

 

Kieran Lombard scored twice to lead Dover to a come from behind 4-3 win in it's season opener against Oyster River on Monday evening at the Whittemore Center.  The GreenWave fought back from a 3-1 deficit for the victory.  Lombard was complimented by goals from Robert Markusic and Ben Henderson.  Brad Bishop, Brett Baumgardner, Reed Laakso and Steven Constas all contributed assists on the evening while Goalie Luc Ravenelle finished the night with 9 saves.  Dover next plays on Wednesday Night, 7:30PM against Kinswood at Pop Whalen Arena in Wolfboro.

36th Annual DHS Hockey Jamboree Kicks Off Start of 2013-14 Season

 

 

Twenty area teams from New Hampshire and Maine converged on the Dover Arena Saturday for the 36 Annual DHS Hockey Jamboree. The teams played twenty minute periods throughout the day utilizing both the Foster & Holt Rinks. The Dover High Hockey Boosters hosted the event in support of the DHS boys and girls hockey atheletes. Many thanks to all the DHS Booster parents that donated their time and effort to the many roles needed to make the event run smoothly. The annual event continues to grow and is an exciting starting point of the season for many of the programs who return year after year. Let's play some hockey!!! Next up: Scrimmage this week for Boys Team - Wed. 12/11, 7:00PM at Belmont-Gilford.  The Girls kick off their season this coming Saturday 12/14, 6:00PM at Everett Arena against Concord.
