Volunteers needed!

Our league uses Arlington School District schools and must comply with district policy regarding building entry.  The policy requirement is that all school doors must remain CLOSED and LOCKED at all times.  During league events we are required to have a volunteer responsible to monitor the door and allow entry for league participants.

For most of the schools, the entry point / door is not within sight of the gym area and thus requires someone to be diligently attending the door.  We understand that this interferes with this persons ability to watch league games and want to ensure that a dedicated volunteer is assigned and responsible for this duty at each event for the full duration of the game.

We are currently working with the teams to arrange monitors and a rotation of assignments to help minimize the need to staff this externally with paid employees.  Our league is volunteer driven and, in order to minimize costs, hope we can support this requirement with volunteers.

SNOW DAYS!

Following ACSD cancellation policy there are NO BEEKMAN BASKETBALL GAMES when school is canceled for inclement weather.

Make-up games will be scheduled when possible.

Beekman Basketball is dedicated to providing young boys and girls, grades 1st through 12th, the opportunity to learn, play and build their basketball skills right here in our own community!

Players of all ability levels are encouraged to register and participate.

League runs from November to March with weekly games and practice.
