Pitcher Opening for 17U Black Knights

Coach Barker is looking to work with (2) Major quality pitchers this year who want to maximize their velocity and perfect their skill to progress to the next level. Coach Barker is considered by his peers to be one of the top pitching instructors in the metro Atlanta area.

To be considered you must be serious and dedicated to learn the proper mechanics necessary to maximize velocity. Pitching needs to be your passion and your goal must be to develop into a College Scholarship pitcher.  You will learn the same mechanics he taught his son who received a Division I scholarship to a top university and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves this year.

Your velocity now must be at least 78 MPH and your goal is to be 85+ at the start of the summer season at the 17U level. If you are already throwing 80+ your goal is to be in the high 80's by summer.

If interested please email Coach Barker at (
ecbblackknights@aol.com) or call 770-317-4528. You will get a FREE lesson if asked to come out for an evaluation (this will give you an idea of the quality of instruction you will receive). You and your parents will get a comprehensive explanation on what it takes and the truth about pitching at the collegiate level and exactly what the coach's are looking for at Division I, II, III, NAIA and the JUCO level and how you get their attention over others. Do you know that NCAA Division I schools have (only) 11.7 scholarships to give and that they must divide them between 28 players. They carry up to 35 players and most schools have at least 15 pitchers on their roster. DO THE MATH! Pitchers get the most scholarship money!

If selected you will learn the mechanics of pitching with power velocity to include: Creating proper momentum, Triple extension (what it is, what it does), Proper weight shift, Front leg and hip bracing for power, Shoulder - Hip separation (what it is, what it does), Trunk Flex/Extension to finish.

If you are truly serious about advancing your skills don't hesitate and miss this opportunity.
